A weekend extravaganza celebrating the finest examples of traditional and contemporary Latin American music and dance. Performances will be complemented by workshops for all abilities that will explore the culture, dance and musicianship of these various traditions.
Acts will include Cordado De Ouro, one of the biggest names in Brazilian Capoeria; Afro-Cuban music from the 50s in Ahmed Dickison’s guitar; Maria Cena presenting the latest trend in Argentine modern dance; Los Rioplatenses take on traditional South American folk; Rastros Venezuelan dance steps; exotic Colombian folk music by La Papayera and the beautiful voice of Paola Ortiz singing old tangos.
